Participatory Budgets of Polish Major Cities During Covid-19

Purpose: This article aims to determine the resilience of solutions adopted in Poland scope participatory budgeting regarding crisis economy. Design/Methodology/Approach: Multiple case studies as research tool was used. It enabled a multi-faceted analysis functioning budgets (PB). Firstly - review literature on subject PBS, secondly an legal sources PBs Poland; thirdly information available websites and source, documents published by individual main regional 17 cities Poland, associated with implementation PB procedures 2019 -2020. Findings: Data obtained from city offices concerning distribution procedure over time decisions made shape 2020 indicate relatively strong impact pandemic studied cities. Changes schedules, reduction pool funds, changes consultation processes, or proper voting methods constitute apparent consequences pandemic's processes. Practical Implications: The shows that earlier remote strengthening inhabitants' belief importance can undoubtedly have significant Also, ability citizens municipalities use new technologies both designing will be essential strengthen process times.
